The company was developed by a very experienced team within the graphite industry that has created numerous achievements. Our team is bringing all of our knowledge together under graphite Quebec with the goal of being the most environmentally respectful graphite mining company in the world by producing the highest quality at the lowest rate within the market.
The world of energy storage is not slowing down - it’s accelerating at an incredible speed. Our goal is to provide anode material to the battery factories of North America. We can achieve this through experience, know-how and a world class graphite property.

Doug is a versatile professional with a strong business, operational, and marketing background, backed by a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. He's held leadership roles in diverse sectors like carbon science, technology, and digital marketing, consulting on strategic initiatives for commercial clients. His noteworthy contributions include roles in corporate operations at Saint Jean Carbon and Volt Carbon Sciences. His involvement in projects, such as constructing a graphite processing pilot facility and developing a prototype battery facility, showcase his contributions to technology and carbon science.
David J. Salari P.Eng.
David is a seasoned professional metallurgical engineer with over 40 years of global experience in mining and metallurgy. He currently leads D.E.N.M. Engineering Ltd., specializing in managing mineral processing projects. His expertise spans graphite processing, equipment design, and operation, meeting the stringent criteria as a "Qualified Person" per National Instrument 43-101, ensuring proficiency in mineral processing, metallurgical design, costing, and analysis.
Paul Ogilvie
Paul is the founder behind multiple carbon-based mining ventures — Northern Graphite, Mega Graphite, Canada Carbon, and Saint Jean Carbon — and he is dedicated to supplying anode materials for the lithium-ion battery industry. His focus lies in pioneering environmentally sensitive and cost-effective technologies for liberating graphite from ore bodies, marked by notable patent filings in innovative graphite processing methods.
Scott Old
Scott boasts a robust 25-year background in Sales, Marketing, and Promotions, consistently exceeding customer expectations, with strengths in communication, problem-solving, team leadership, and client relations. His extensive 15-year involvement in the Green Energy and Graphite sector, notably as Vice President at Canada Carbon, Mega Graphite, and Saint Jean Carbon, reflects pivotal roles in shaping strategies, overseeing successful sampling programs, procurement, and expanding global partnerships for the companies.
Afzaal Pirzada PGeo
Geological Expertise: Professional Geoscientist with over 35 years of experience in mineral exploration and mining. Expertise in lithium, rare metals, graphite, uranium, vanadium, and base metals. Since 2008, has specialized in graphite exploration in Quebec, successfully leading multiple projects. Extensive experience in lithium pegmatite and brine-type lithium deposits across Canada, the USA, South America, and the Middle East. Registered Professional Geoscientist with Engineers and Geoscientists British Columbia (EGBC) and the Order of Geologists of Quebec (OGQ). Business and Leadership: Held key leadership roles, including Project Geologist, VP Exploration, Director, and CEO of various mining companies. Has reviewed and assessed hundreds of mining projects for acquisition and joint ventures. Technical Contributions: Author of numerous NI 43-101 technical and exploration work assessment reports. Recognized as a “Qualified Person” (QP) for mineral exploration projects

Business and Capital Markets Expertise: Seasoned businessman and Vancouver-based entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in public and private markets. Began his capital markets career with a boutique merchant bank in Vancouver. Assisted public and private companies in raising over $300 million through various institutions across Europe, Asia, and the United States. Leadership and Industry Experience: Extensive network of investment banking contacts, instrumental in the management and development of start-ups and junior companies. Served as CEO, President, and Director of multiple public issuers in the resource sector. Focus on Lithium Exploration: Dedicated to the lithium sector since 2007, leading exploration and management of lithium projects. Experience managing lithium exploration campaigns in Canada, the U.S., Europe, and South America.
Robert Rice, P.Eng.,
Robert is renowned as an engineering expert and accomplished metallurgist, and boasts extensive experience in solving metallurgical challenges, from refining various metals to designing innovative solutions for graphite extraction. His technological innovations include a proprietary process for graphite extraction and resolving critical challenges in drying techniques, elevating the environmentally sustainable quality of carbon materials.
